Mindfulness

Mindfulness develops the whole brain and helps children to understand their emotions and feelings. Mindfulness exercises are an extremely effective way to help reduce anxiety.

The impact of self-isolation and / or social distancing may make it difficult to keep fit and healthy. Here are some great mindfulness and meditation links for you to try at home with your children:

Wellbeing

During this time, it is important that we continue to look after ourselves and our wellbeing.  Alongside the above:

Learning something new and staying connected with others is positively associated with mental health and wellbeing. So...

  • Stay in touch with friends and family
  • Try something new or rediscover an old interest
  • Smile more
  • Stay connected to the school through the school website and twitter
